We’re looking for a Sales Engineer – Customer Success to support our fast-growing client base and empower organizations to extract the most value from our security services.
As a Customer Success Sales Engineer, you’ll partner with our Managed Services and Sales teams to ensure clients feel empowered, informed, and secure. In this customer-facing technical role, you’ll focus on driving solution enablement, delivering post-sale advisory, and providing trusted guidance to maximize service adoption and value realization.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Thrive in fast-paced, multi-engagement environments, balancing technical depth with business priorities across multiple prospects and projects.
- Translate complex cybersecurity challenges into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences—from technical stakeholders to C-level executives.
- Serve as the technical liaison between Cybrella and customers, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Support to drive solution alignment and client trust.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and Proof of Value (PoV) sessions, showcasing how Cybrella’s capabilities address real-world security concerns.
- Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor, guiding clients on best practices and how to effectively apply Cybrella’s solutions to meet their business and technical objectives.
- Lead technical workshops, discovery calls, and onboarding efforts during pre-sales and early service delivery phases to ensure value realization.
- Identify and remove adoption roadblocks, proactively recommending strategies that improve engagement outcomes and long-term customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Customer Success Engineering, or Security Consulting.
- Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as vulnerability management, cloud security, and secure development practices.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience working with SIEM, EDR, WAF, or other security platforms is a strong plus.
- Comfortable leading technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.).
- Experience supporting post-sales engagement cycles in a startup or consulting environment.
- Basic understanding of DevSecOps pipelines or cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Understanding of the OSI model
- Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS
